What We Teach
Statement of Faith
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. They are the final rule for faith and life, sufficient for all that we must believe and do for salvation and godliness. The Scriptures reveal God’s character, His redemptive purposes, and His will for His people.

The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are of one substance, equal in power and glory, and worthy of all worship, honor, and obedience.

God the Father
We believe God the Father is the Creator of heaven and earth, sovereign over all things, perfect in holiness, wisdom, justice, goodness, and love. He upholds and governs all creation according to His will and for His glory.

Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God, who became fully human without ceasing to be fully divine. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, fulfilled the law of God, and revealed the Father perfectly. We believe that He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, bearing the penalty of sin and reconciling us to God. He was buried and rose bodily on the third day, ascended into heaven, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father as Lord and Mediator. He will return visibly in power and glory to judge the living and the dead.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, proceeding from the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates and indwells believers, unites them to Christ, and empowers them for holy living and faithful witness. He distributes gifts for the building up of the Church and produces spiritual fruit in the lives of believers.

Humanity
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, male and female, to know, love, and glorify Him. Through the disobedience of Adam, sin entered the world, and all people are now sinners by nature and choice, spiritually dead and unable to save themselves.

Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is the free gift of God, not the result of human works. Through repentance and faith, sinners are justified—declared righteous before God—on the basis of Christ’s finished work. Those whom God saves are also regenerated by the Holy Spirit, adopted into God’s family, progressively sanctified, and kept by God’s power until the end.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body and bride of Christ, composed of all who trust in Him. Christ is the head of the Church. The Church exists to worship God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, administer the sacraments (Baptism and the Lord’s Supper), and live as a holy and loving community.
The Sacraments
We believe Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordained by Christ as signs and seals of His covenant of grace. They visibly proclaim the gospel and strengthen the faith of believers.

The Christian Life
We believe that all believers are called to live in obedience to God’s Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Good works do not earn salvation but are the fruit of a living faith. Christians are called to love God and neighbor, pursue holiness, and bear witness to Christ in the world.
The Future
We believe that Jesus Christ will return bodily to judge all people. The righteous will enter into eternal life in the new heavens and new earth, and the unrepentant will face eternal judgment. God will make all things new, and His redeemed people will dwell with Him forever.
